Release Agent for Composites. Chemlease® PMR release agent provides excellent release performance and enables multiple demoldings. This product combines both a sealer and a release agent in one package. It is easy to use and acts quickly on the mold surface. The release performance of Chemlease agents is based on a thin polymer film that forms on the mold surface. This film cures through the combined effects of heat and ambient moisture. It is essential that the film is continuous and fully cured - the thinner the layer is applied, the faster and more reliably it cures. To ensure effective release, the treatment should be repeated several times to form a uniform film across the entire mold surface.
Usage Instructions
Treatment of a new mold: Always ensure the mold is thoroughly cleaned of dirt and grease using a suitable mold cleaner before applying the release agent.
Number of application layers: 3–5. For all applications, it is recommended to use a 100% cotton,
washed cloth.
Gloss level: Glossy
Drying time between layers at 20 °C: 15 minutes
Final curing time at 20 °C: 30 minutes
Please note: In winter, ambient humidity can be very low, which may significantly extend drying times.
