Release agent for composites. Chemlease® 75 EZ is a high-performance release agent that provides excellent release and allows for multiple demoldings. It is easy to use and acts quickly on the mold surface. The release performance of Chemlease agents is based on the formation of a thin polymer film on the mold surface. This film cures through exposure to heat and ambient moisture. It is essential that the film is continuous and fully cured – the thinner the layer applied, the faster and more reliably it cures. To ensure proper release performance, the treatment should be repeated several times so that a uniform film is formed across the entire surface.
How to use
Treatment of a new mold Make sure to thoroughly clean the mold of any dirt and grease using a suitable mold cleaner before applying the release agent.
Number of application layers: 3–5 For all applications, it is recommended to use a 100% cotton, washed cotton cloth.
Drying time between coats at 20 °C: 15 minutes
Final curing time at 20 °C: 30 minutes
During winter, air humidity can be very low, which affects the drying time. In such conditions, the drying time may be significantly longer.
