Product Information
GLASS FIBER TAPE 290 G/M2 50 MM
One of the key properties of fiberglass tape is its light weight and strength, making it well suited for structures that require reinforcement without adding significant weight. Fiberglass does not rust or rot, making it ideal for use in moist and demanding environments. In addition, it is a good electrical insulator and not easily flammable, which makes it useful in the electrical industry as well. Fiberglass is also relatively affordable compared to materials like carbon fiber or aramid fiber.
Fiberglass is widely used across various industries. In composite materials, it is combined with resin—most commonly epoxy or polyester resins. Fiberglass tapes are used in applications such as boats, parts of cars and trucks, sports equipment, and wind turbine blades. They are also frequently used in various repair projects.
