CARBON FIBER FABRIC 600 G/M2 BIAKS
Biaxial carbon fiber fabric is suitable for structures requiring rapid buildup of laminate thickness, excellent formability, and durability. This type of weave frays very little and conforms easily to complex surfaces, making it an ideal material for carbon fiber repairs and structural reinforcements. For cosmetic surface layers, other types of fabric are recommended. The fabric is manufactured so that one layer of carbon fiber tows is placed at a 45° angle, and a second layer is placed perpendicular, also at a 45° angle. The layers are stitched together with fine polyester thread, ensuring uniform structure and preventing movement of the layers during handling.
Carbon fibers are suitable for reinforcing both thermosetting and thermoplastic resins. They are primarily used when a product requires a combination of strength, stiffness, and light weight.
