ALJA-SAFE
Alja-Safe is an easy-to-use alginate powder designed for creating single-use molds, ideal for body parts such as hands. It sets quickly and is skin-safe. The finished mold can be cast with plaster, platinum-cure silicone, or Smooth-Cast™ 300Q ultra-fast urethane resin to create detailed reproductions.
Alja-Safe™ is perfect for making molds of faces, hands, and other body parts, capturing fine details with precision. For reusable molds of any body part, use Body Double™ silicone instead.
IMPORTANT: This product is not tested for dental applications.

Usage Instructions
Mix 1 part Alja-Safe powder with 1 part water by volume. Adjust water slightly to change consistency: less water = thicker mix, more water = thinner, easier-to-pour mix. Avoid excess water, which can prevent proper setting.
For 27 °C water, working time is 5 minutes; the cast can be removed after 8 minutes. Warmer water shortens working time; cooler water lengthens it.
Sift powder into water for best results.
Alja-Safe™ can be hand-mixed, but a drill with a mixing attachment ensures a smooth, gel-like consistency.
Leave at least 1.3 cm space between the model and the container sides.
lginate molds are single-use and should be cast within 4 hours. Common casting materials include plaster, wax, clay, and ultra-fast urethane resins.
Storage
Store in a dry, room-temperature location. In hot conditions, shipping may warm the powder, speeding up setting; cool to 15–21 °C for at least 24 hours if needed. Use as soon as possible; avoid moisture contact with unopened powder. Only use in well-ventilated areas.
