After August 24, 2023, training is required for the use of diisocyanates to ensure worker protection. Employers must ensure that users of diisocyanates have completed safety training. This training requirement does not apply to consumers.

Use and Handling
Hygienic precautions:
Use the personal protective equipment described below. Wash hands before breaks, before using common areas, and at the end of the workday. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while using this substance.
Respiratory protection:
Use a respirator equipped with an A2/K2 filter.
Hand protection: Use protective gloves made of butyl rubber for handling the substance.
Eye or face protection: Safety goggles/face shield must be worn.
Skin protection: Wear appropriate protective clothing.
