Product Description
EPOXY GREENCAST 160 CLEAR CASTING RESIN 1 KG
SR GreenCast 160 is a clear epoxy resin designed for casting decorative items, prototypes, jewelry, and river tables.
Ordinary epoxy resins do not always perform well in thick castings – they can overheat, yellow, or develop air bubbles and surface imperfections. Casting resin, such as SR GreenCast 160, has been specifically developed to address these challenges. It cures slowly and evenly, maintaining excellent clarity and minimizing color changes even in large pour volumes.

 - Clear and colorless
 - Cures at room temperature
 - Mixing ratio 2:1

Measure the resin and hardener accurately. Mix slowly to avoid air entrapment. In some applications, preheating the mixture and/or degassing under vacuum may be beneficial. The maximum recommended casting thickness is approximately 100 mm.
Safety
Casting epoxies should be used in well-ventilated areas. Always wear appropriate protective equipment. Wear a long-sleeved shirt and disposable gloves resistant to epoxy (e.g., nitrile). Uncured epoxy resin is a strong skin sensitizer. Fully cured epoxy plastic is harmless to health.
Tools can be cleaned with acetone, but remember — epoxy is an excellent adhesive and bonds to almost anything, including your tools. Therefore, it’s best to use inexpensive disposable tools that can be discarded after use.
