CARBON FIBER FELT 34 G/M², 900 MM, 2ND GRADE
Lightweight 34 g/m² carbon fiber felt for composite laminating. Thanks to the electrical conductivity of carbon fiber, the felt can be used in laminates to reduce static electricity and increase electrical conductivity.
The felt can be laminated into a composite structure, for example as a conductive surface layer. However, when designing a structure for static electricity control, it should be noted that a thick, resin-rich surface layer may reduce the effective dissipation of electrical charges.
The lightweight, porous fiber structure absorbs a relatively large amount of resin, which means that the carbon fiber felt can also be used to create a resin-rich surface layer. The felt also helps smooth out the texture of the underlying reinforcement and reduce reinforcement print-through on the surface of the finished laminate.
